Trained at the Professional Academy of Pet Grooming, and with over 30 years of experience in dog behaviour and body language, Kaz is committed to providing a not only the groom you are after, but an experience that your pet will love.
Services we provide
We offer a full range of dog grooming services including coat wash, coat conditioning, blow dry, coat clipping and trimming, deshedding, nail clipping and ear care.
We understand the importance of listening to our clients' requests and concerns as well as reading your dog's body language to respond to our doggy clients with reassurance when they may be unsure or nervous.
Full Groom
A Full Groom includes coat wash, coat condition, blow dry, full coat clip and nails.
Mini Groom
A mini groom includes coat wash, coat condition, blow dry, face and feet trim and nail clip.
Deshedding Treatment
Kaz's specialist Deshedding Treatment is unsurpassed! You will notice a significant reduction in hair in your home. Includes coat wash, condition and blow dry followed by deshedding brush out and nails.
Large and Elderly Dogs
We are equipped with a lift tub and lift grooming table, which can be lowered to the ground. This means very large, elderly or less mobile dogs can be easily walked or carried into facilities.
Ear Care
Specialist ear care, such as waxy ear cleaning or hair removal can also be booked on request.
Limited Pick Up and Drop Off Service
If you are local and do not drive, have limited mobility or cannot drop off and pick up your dog for another reason, we can arrange a pick-up and drop off service for a small fee.

Meet your groomer
Kaz loves dogs!
Growing up with parents who bred miniature poodles, grooming and dog love was always in the family! Having owned and trained a wide variety of breeds since then, Kaz is not only an expert in coat care but also dog behaviour and communication, making her an ideal partner for nervous dogs.
When she wanted to start her own salon for dogs, she completed formal certification training with the Australian Academy of Professional Pet Grooming (AAPPG) in Sydney and brushed up on her skills, also accessing the latest in products and equipment.
Custom Cutz was founded in Blacksmiths NSW in 2023 to provide caring and quality grooming for all size breeds of dog in a quiet, air-conditioned salon (and so that Kaz can spend time with dogs all day!!).
You are even welcome to stay with your pet during their spa experience if you would like to!
